By taking the Introduction to Business Analysis course, you will get answers to the following questions: What is Business Intelligence; What is the role of the Business Analyst in IT; What is the IT Project Life Cycle (SDLC) and what are the stages of the cycle (SDLC). You will also find out about the main project management methodologies: Waterfall, Agile - Scrum, Kanban.
This subject will introduce you to the most important resource that guides all business analysts in the world.
This session will introduce you to the key concepts of Agile methodology, including Scrum.
In this course, you will learn the key functional responsibilities of an IT Business Analyst in the Waterfall and Agile-Scrum methodologies.
Understand why modeling is needed. Consider what a business process and BPMN are. Getting familiar with the modeling tool Camunda Modeler. During the lecture, we will do a practical task on BPMN, and in the homework assignment, you will describe the business processes of your project.
During the study of this topic, you will learn about the types of software requirements development and the basic principles of their description and modeling in the form of use cases.
At this session, you will discover the peculiarities of composing a technical document, namely Software Requirements Specification.
After the course you'll learn how to prepare requirements to the software in Agile-projects, in particular in Scrum. You will learn how to make elements of user stories.
