Being acquainted with the fundamentals of Backend development. Recalling the key features of the programming language Java. Learning about the tools of Backend-developer. Learning the basics of the GIT tool. Setting up the IDE platform IntelliJ Idea.
We will study the principles of microservices architecture and its advantages. Will define RESTful systems and the use of REST API. Will learn how to use RESTful methods. We will get familiar with the Spring framework and with Spring Boot. Will gain an understanding of Java annotations; and how to use them. We will analyze the work of a simple Web service. We will create our own Web service.
We will define the Spring Cloud. We will learn how Eureka Discovery Service works. We will study the basics of Eureka Server and Eureka Client. Will implement a microservice using Eureka. We will review usage, functions and working principles of Spring Cloud Gateway. Will connect and configure the API Gateway to the project.
We will get familiar with the solution Spring Cloud OpenFeign. Will explore the features and benefits of the service. We will examine the functionality of OpenFeign in practice.
We will recall the definition of a database. We will learn the basic types of databases. We will give a definition of Spring Data. Will explore the basics of the Java Persistence API (JPA) and the purpose of the service. We will set up the work of JPA in the project.
We will get an idea of NoSQL databases. Will assess the advantages of NoSQL databases and their types. Will explore the basics of Spring Data Elasticsearch and its capabilities. Will define entities and annotations in Elasticsearch. We will set up the Elasticsearch configuration and implement the service.
We will get to know message brokers. We will learn the purpose and capabilities of the Apache Kafka tool. Will create Apache Kafka threads and learn how to record events in them. We will set up Apache Kafka to send and receive messages.
